A CATHODE STRUCTURE FOR AN ELECTRICAL ENERGY STORAGE DEVICE AND THE METHOD OF FABRICATING THE CATHODE STRUCTURE

We describe a method of fabricating a cathode structure for an electrical energy storage device, the method comprising: providing a foam having electrical conductivity; providing a catalyst layer on said foam, wherein said catalyst layer has a thickness of less than 3nm; and growing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on said catalyst layer, wherein said CNTs have an average diameter of less than 7nm.
