The main body of a motor-driven appliance is capable of being equipped with a plurality of battery packs. Each battery pack has a battery incorporated therein. The main body of a motor-driven appliance charges at least one battery that is not fully charged as a battery to be charged from among the batteries with the power generated within the motor-driven appliance.
