PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing including a drag device which prevents breakage and deformation of a ball bearing for supporting a spool in a rotatable manner, and which can acquire stable drag performance.SOLUTION: A spinning reel for fishing includes a drag device 20 capable of adjusting a frictional coupling force in the rotation direction of a spool 1 with respect to a spool shaft 2 by changing a contact pressure of a brake member 30, which is accommodated 30 in a recess 1A formed in the front part of the spool 1 rotatably supported at the spool shaft 2, by rotating and operating an adjustment body 22 screwed to a tip part of the spool shaft 2. Furthermore, the spinning reel for fishing has: a ball bearing 5 for rotatably supporting the spool 1 with respect to the spool shaft 2; and an opposite part 10 disposed integrally with the spool shaft 2 and oppositely arranged so that a gap G exists between itself and a rear end part 1d of the spool and/or the ball bearing 5. |
