PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine, which can prevent occurrence of breaking of an insulation sheet member arranged in a slot of a stator core while stator wiring is miniaturized.SOLUTION: A stator includes: an annular stator core 22 having a plurality of slots 25 arranged in a circumferential direction; stator winding which has a skew section where an open end which is inserted from one side in an axial direction and extends to the other side in the axial direction is twisted in a circumferential direction in the slot 25 and which is constituted of a plurality of conductor segments where terminals of the skew section are bonded; and an insulation sheet member 24 interposed between the inner wall face of the slot 25 and the conductor segment. The insulation sheet member 24 includes an overlap section 24a which is wound in a cylindrical shape along the inner wall face of the slot 25 and in which both ends in the circumferential direction are overlapped, and a slack section 24b is arranged in an opposite side in the radial direction of the overlap section 24a. |
