PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material for a solar cell module capable of providing excellent transparency and heat resistance to the sealing material for the solar cell module while using a polyethylene-based resin, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A sealing material for a solar cell module uses a polyethylene-based resin having a density of 0.900 g/cmor less, and an MFR of 0.1 g/10 min or more and 1.0 g/10 min or less. The sealing material is obtained by melting and molding a resin composition containing a polyethylene-based resin having a density of 0.890 g/cmor less, and a polymerization initiator containing 0.02 mass% or more and less than 0.5 mass% in the composition. A density difference between the resin compositions before and after melting and molding is within 0.05 g/cm, and an MFR difference between the resin compositions before and after melting and molding is 1.0 g/10 min or more. |
