An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device having a pad structure and a method of fabricating the same are provided to detect defects in advance by inspecting the lighting of an LCD panel. A method of fabricating an LCD device having a pad structure comprises the steps of: forming a TFT(Thin Film Transistor)(137) and a color filter and providing first and second parent substrates; boding the first parent substrate with the second parent substrate; exposing a test pad sealed by a seal pattern and formed on the LCD panel(110) of the first substrate; inspecting the LCD panel by applying a test signal to the test pad; and separating the bonded first and second parent substrates. |
