PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individually packaged absorbent article capable of being simply opened and capable of being mounted on underwear as it is.SOLUTION: A sanitary napkin 1 is folded into a Z-shape in its longitudinal direction, with a slippage-locking adhesive layer 9 covered with a release sheet 10, by: a first folding-back part Twhere the napkin 1 is folded back on the surface side thereof along with a release sheet 10 at the position on the rear side B from the front end F in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1; and a second folding-back part Twhere the napkin 1 is folded back on the back side thereof along with the release sheet 10 at the position on the rear side B so as to continue to the first folding-back part T. The sanitary napkin 1 is constituted so that the front end F is formed so as to be protruded to the outside from the second folding-back part Tand the rear end B is formed so as to be protruded to the outside from the first folding-back part Twhile the release sheet 10 is constituted so that the end part on the side of the front end F of the napkin 1 is joined to a packaging sheet 11 in a non-releasable manner and the end part on the side of the rear end B of the napkin 1 is joined to the opposed release sheet 10 in a non-releasable manner. Then, the packaging sheet part 11b corresponding to the front end F of the napkin 1 is made separable. |
