The present invention relates to a method to display content on an electronic device and a device thereof and, more specifically, to a flexible device to control the reproduction of the content. The method to control the reproduction of the content in the electronic device comprises a step of displaying a gesture sensing area which senses the gesture of a user when a display unit is transformed during the reproduction of the content, and a step of controlling the reproduced content by sensing the gesture of the user. The step of displaying the gesture sensing area comprises a step of controlling the range of the gesture sensing area in accordance to the degree of reproduction of the content.
