<p>The heat exchanger element has a casing tube (2) and an inner tube (3), in which two flow-channels separated from one another are provided, where inflow and outflow of the inner tube are formed on each other in longitudinal direction (6) opposite end sides of the heat exchanger element. The inflow and outflow of the casing tube are formed as openings (7) in the outer surface of the casing tube in the longitudinal direction of the heat exchanger element.
