Disclosed is a method for determining a location of a shelf article, which is capable of accurately identifying location information of an article or a scanner located on a shelf. The method for determining a location of a shelf article includes the steps of moving a scanner in a horizontal direction of a shelf cell to which an identification factor is attached; reading a serial number from the identification factor which is closely located to the moving scanner; setting a moving route of the scanner according to the read serial number and reading an article tag; and determining a display location of an article through the number of reading of the article tag. |
