According to the present invention, a method of manufacturing a driving shaft comprises the steps of forming a first shaft part by compressing one side of a metal pipe with first strength; drawing the center of the metal pipe formed to be integrated into the first shaft part so as to reduce the thickness of the center; forming a strength decrease part with second strength lower than the first strength on an inner surface of the other side of the metal pipe by treating the inner surface of the other side facing one side of the metal pipe; and forming a second shaft part without deformation of the center by compressing the metal pipe on which the strength decrease part is formed. The second shaft part is formed by imposing compressive force on a portion of the metal pipe where the strength decrease part is formed in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the metal pipe.
