PURPOSE: An antibacterial composition is provided to reduce side effects by using various plants, to show superior antibacterial activity, and to be used in pharmaceutical products, cleansers, or cosmetic materials. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial pharmaceutical composition contains a light-irradiated material of a Ranunculus sceleratus L. extract or a fraction thereof as an active ingredient. A cosmetic composition contains the light-irradiated material as an active ingredient. The extract or the fraction thereof is treated by light at 2000-18000 lux for 1-24 hours. |
