PURPOSE: An automatic water supply apparatus for a bathtub and a control method thereof are provided to prevent the damage or deformation of a pipe and a bathtub part according to the supply of initial hot water. CONSTITUTION: An automatic water supply apparatus for a bathtub includes a bathtub part(10) supplying water inside; a warm water supply part(20) supplying hot water to the bathtub part; a cold water supply part(30) supplying cold water to the bathtub part; a water level sensor(40) sensing the water level of accommodated water; and a temperature sensor(50) sensing the temperature of accommodated water. The water supply part equips with a first opening/closing member installed in a warm water pipe, a second opening/closing member installed in a cold water pipe, and a water supply pipe supplying warm water and cold water respectively supplied from the warm water pipe and cold water pipe. |
