<p>Apparatus for heating water using energy from the sun, which apparatus comprises a solar circuit, a vent 19 for venting the apparatus to atmosphere in order to maintain pressures in the solar circuit which are close to atmospheric pressure, and water-replacement means for replacing water lost from the solar circuit through the vent 19. The solar circuit includes a reservoir 25 with a vent 19 to a water store 23. A pump 21 is provided to replace vented water with water from the store.</p> |
