The present invention relates to a server and a method for provisioning a voice over internet protocol (VoIP) terminal in order to minimize the disclosure weak point of account information which is important for performing a provisioning procedure of the VoIP terminal. According to an aspect of the present invention, the server for provisioning the VoIP terminal comprises an initial access checking unit for checking whether the access is the first time after the terminal opens or after an block and unblock event occurs when requesting SIP account information from the accessed terminal; and a provision and block unit for transmitting or blocking the corresponding SIP account information to the terminal depending on whether the initial access checking unit checks the initial access. |
