Disclosed are device and a method for removing noise of an image. Disclosed deice comprises a diffusion measuring unit for measuring diffusion energy to a target pixel from surrounding pixels by applying an anisotropic diffusion filter; a surrounding pixel difference computing unit for computing a difference in the value of the target pixel and its surrounding pixels; and a diffusion correction unit for correcting the output value of the diffusion computing unit based on the difference value of the surrounding pixel difference computing unit. By using the disclosed device, it does not require a large amount of computing quantity to remove noise of an image and can remove Gaussian and impulse noise through a single filter. |
