The present invention relates to a cleaning formulation which consists of saponins, olive oil fatty acid soap or olive oil fatty acids and alkyl-polyglycosides, which has strong surface-active and cleaning properties (improving significantly the appearance of the cleaned surface without leaving residues), satisfactory stability and biodegradability without being classified as irritant for the skin or the eyes. The said formulation may be used as such or in combination with further surface-active ingredients, washing enhancers, complexing substances or enzymes, e.g. sodium laureth sulfate, protease, amylase and others for removing dirt in products such as clothing detergents, dishwashing detergents, hard-surface detergents, bathroom detergents or floor detergents.It may be in powder form or in liquid form or in solid form or as gel or as tablet. |
