The present invention relates to a washing machine having a balancer for offsetting an unbalance in weight, generated during a rotation of a drum. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the washing machine includes: a cabinet; a drum arranged inside the cabinet to be rotated; and a balancer mounted in the drum for offsetting the unbalanced weight generated inside the drum during the rotation of the drum. The balancer includes: a balancer housing having a circular channel inside; at least one mass body movably arranged inside the channel; a magnet prepared on one side of the balancer housing to bind the mass body; and a magnet case for accommodating the magnet.
