PURPOSE: An artificial marble has natural stone texture and part phosphorescent property by including the optimal proportion of a phosphorescent amorphous pattern part using a non-phosphorescent material and a phosphorescent pigment. CONSTITUTION: An artificial marble includes 70-95 weight% of a non- phosphorescent material (I) and 5-30 weight% of a phosphorescent amorphous pattern part (II). The non- phosphorescent material (I) includes an unsaturated polyester resin (A), a silica-containing compound (B), and organic/inorganic pigments (C). The phosphorescent amorphous pattern part (II) includes an unsaturated polyester resin (A), a silica-containing compound (B), and a phosphorescent pigment (D). The total surface area of the phosphorescent amorphous pattern part (II) is 5-30% of the artificial marble surface area. The non- phosphorescent material (I) has 7-10 weight% the unsaturated polyester resin (A), organic/inorganic pigments (C) of 1-1 parts by weight against a non- phosphorescent material composition 100.0 having 90-93 weight% of a compound containing silica (B). The phosphorescent amorphous pattern part (II) includes 7-10 weight% of an unsaturated polyester resin (A), 85-91 weight% of a compound containing silica and 2-5 weight% of the phosphorescent pigment. |
