Provided are non-invasive methods for determining the genetic status of a fetus, i.e. aneuplodies. In addition, the present invention relates to devices and kits adapted or useful for the methods of the present invention and to a use of non-coding RNA(s) (ncRNA) and/or precursor(s) thereof for non-invasive diagnostic methods of evaluation of fetal disorders and/or pathologies based on evaluation of differential expression of ncRNAs and/or precursors thereof.
