1. A device for delivering a therapeutic substance to the body of a mammal, comprising:
a treatment element for modifying the pharmacodynamic or pharmacokinetic properties of said therapeutic substance; a reservoir for storing said therapeutic substance, a manual infusion pump functionally associated with said reservoir for dispensing the contents of said reservoir; wherein said reservoir is in fluid communication and coupled with an infusion set catheter with a coupling member; the infusion set comprising:
a catheter disposed in a catheter housing, the housing having an adhesive layer for coupling to a body, and wherein said catheter is in fluid communication and coupled with said reservoir about said coupling member.
