The device has a combustion chamber (120) which is provided in vertical direction with constant cross section area. The horizontally oriented combustion planes of pellets are positioned between upper and lower ends of chamber. A flame guide device (130) is provided for conducting flame produced in chamber into ambient air. The flame control device is formed to cool air flow between a flame tube (140) and flame control device on one hand and shield them from the flame on the other hand, to causes the formation of a long flame as the light column.
