PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress change of a discharge characteristic due to heat from a heat generator for some head units that can be used alone in particular.SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 1 includes: a first head unit 10a and a second head unit 10b lined in a main scan direction; and a driver IC 28 in which a drive circuit 24 for driving each of the head units 10a and 10b and a control circuit 25 for controlling the drive circuit 24 are integrated. The control circuit 25 controls the drive circuit 24 so that the drive circuit 24 drives all head units 10 when printing to a first printing sheet P1 and drives the second head unit 10b alone when printing to a second printing sheet P2. The second head unit 10b is disposed at a position away from the driver IC 28 having the drive circuit 24 as a heat generator farther than the first head unit 10a. |
