The compressor (10) has a compressor wheel (14) arranged in a compressor stator (12) for compressing air. An air flow opening (40) is formed at an upstream of a compressor impeller (28) of the compressor wheel. A supplementary locking element (46) is intended to walls (36, 44) of a housing. The locking element is moved between a recirculation channel (38) and a close position, and fluidically blocks the close position relative to the walls. The locking element is moved between the recirculation channel and an open position, and releases the open position relative to the walls. The recirculation channel is designed as an annular duct, and the locking element is designed as an annular element and a blocking ring.
