The present invention provides an apparatus for removing tar form a carburizing furnace for manufacturing a carbon fiber having high strength by introducing a tar-removing device using inert gas to prevent tar, which is liquefied in an exhaust line, from adhering to the surface of the carbon fiber. The apparatus for removing tar according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of operating parts that are composed at an entrance side for introducing a carbon fiber, which is placed at one side of the main body of a carburizing furnace for manufacturing a carbon fiber, and at an exit side for discharging a heat-treated carbon fiber, which is placed at the other side, to drop tar while moving forward and backward; and a guide part having the central axes of the operating parts installed thereon and having the operating parts obliquely installed thereon. |
