<p>An information processing device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a calculation unit which, in cases when a packet is received from another device that has received a request transmitted from the information processing device, said packet including a time at which the request was received by the other device, calculates a first time period on the basis of the difference between a time at which the information processing device transmitted the request and the time at which the other device received the request; and an update unit which determines whether the calculated first time period is longer than a monitoring time period, i.e. a time period in which a response is monitored, and in cases when it is determined to be longer, uses the first time period to update the monitoring time period.</p> |
