<p>In a computer-resource allocation method in which a management computer equipped with a processor and memory is used to manage computer resources of one or more work computers, the management computer allocates work to the work computers, allocates the computer resources to the work, stores distribution-change-definition information in which patterns for when the distribution of the computer resources for each piece of work is changed are preset as change plans, and when in a prescribed state in which the distribution of the computer resources in the work computers is to be changed, calculates, as an index indicating the size of a demerit corresponding to the change amount in the computer resources allocated to the work, a penalty amount for each of the change plans, determines, on the basis of the penalty amount for each of the change plans, the change to the distribution of the computer resources allocated to the work in the work computers, and notifies the work computers.</p> |
