Based on at least the control parameter, a value of an ink density on a substrate to be printed by the printing press is calculated by an inking unit model and the calculated value is used as input quantity for controlling instead of an actual value. Here, the calculated value is exclusively calculated based on a number of parameters of the inking unit at least at times. |
