The voice input function is activated using touch detection device (14) of functional unit (12) to detect predetermined gesture of user (10). A telephone call is initiated to the functional unit through a telephone network with communication terminal using the activated voice input function. The thumb (38) of the hand is led to the ear of the user and little finger (40) is led to the mouth of the user, when the predetermined gesture is detected. An independent claim is included for functional unit.
