PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide infusion systems and methods for delivering a radiopharmaceutical agent to a subject without exposing an administering health care professional to a potentially deleterious amount of radiation.SOLUTION: A subject administration vial 220 storing a radiopharmaceutical agent on a patient delivery side is connected to another one vial 120' with a cannula 230 via an airtight connector. Out of the two vials, at least the subject administration vial includes a radiation shield 222 surrounding the vial.
