PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression packing device capable of easily removing jam of waste in a hopper.SOLUTION: The compression packing device includes a damper member 30 disposed so as to oscillate in a hopper 20, a first waste detecting sensor 71 for detecting retention of waste near a supply port 10, a second waste detecting sensor 72 for detecting retention of the waste in the hopper 20, and a control device 70 for oscillating the damper member 30 when the first waste detecting sensor 71 does not detect the waste and the second waste detecting sensor 72 detects the waste. When the waste is caught by the damper member 30 in the hopper 20 to generate the jam of the waste, the waste caught by the damper member 30 is made to fall by oscillating the damper member 30 with the control device 70, and the jam of the waste in the hopper 20 can be easily removed. |
