<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the centering with high accuracy without bringing shafts into contact with each other.SOLUTION: A centering device 3 for performing centering work of a servo motor shaft 10 and a driven object shaft 2 includes a laser beam irradiation part 11, a light receiving element 12 and a deviation detection part 33. The laser beam irradiation part 11 irradiates the facing surface of the driven object shaft 2 with laser beams from on the central shaft of the servo motor shaft 10 while rotating the servo motor shaft 10. The light receiving element 12 receives reflection light from the end surface of the driven object shaft 2. The deviation detection part 33 detects core displacement between the servo motor shaft 10 and the driven object shaft 2 on the basis of changing points in the intensity of the received reflection light.</p> |
