<p>Disclosed is a method for synthesizing a carbon nanotube. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: oxidizing and heating a metal substrate; inserting the metal substrate in a horizontal tube path and purging the horizontal tube path in an inert gas atmosphere at least once; increasing the temperature of the horizontal tube path in which the metal substrate is inserted in an inactive atmosphere to 850-1,050°C and maintaining the state for at least ten minutes; leaking an inert gas and hydrogen at particular flow rates and inserting a coal-tar pitch, which exists in a cooling zone outside the horizontal tube path, in a reaction region of 400-500°C; educing a carbon nanotube on the metal substrate by decomposing hydrocarbon pyrolyzed and discharged from the solid coal-tar pitch; and cooling the carbon nanotube.</p> |
