The present invention relates to a light detecting device which detects light of different wavelength ranges with a device by forming different light absorption layers on a substrate, and a light detecting package having the same. One embodiment of the present invention provides a light detecting device which includes a substrate; a first light absorption layer which is formed on the substrate; a second light absorption layer which is formed in a region of the first light absorption layer; and a first electrode layer which is formed on the first and the second light absorption layer, respectively.
