PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing printout in a size different from the intension of a user as much as possible.SOLUTION: A digital multifunctional machine 11 comprises: a manual paper feeder 45 for transporting paper placed on a manual insertion tray to an image forming section 41; a size detection sensor 47 for detecting the size in the width direction perpendicular to the transporting direction of the paper; a print data acquisition section 71 for acquiring print data; a size determination section 73 for determining whether one of print output sizes in the width direction and in the transporting direction of the acquired print data matches with the size in the width direction of the paper detected by the size detection sensor 47; and a paper feed control section 75 for making the manual paper feeder 45 transport the paper so as to print in the print output size when the size determination section 73 determines that the sizes match. |
