PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure operability of a reset switch while securing a storing space for winding a power source cord in a bottom part of a body. SOLUTION: In the electric mixer having the body 1 which is inwardly equipped with a drive motor 5 and in which an output connecter 7 rotated and driven by the drive motor 5 is projected upward and a crusher body 2 in which a passive connecter 17 meshing with the output connecter 7 is projected downward and which has a rotary blade 18 connected with the passive connecter 17, a power source cord-storing space S for storing the power source cord 11 while winding the same is arranged below the body 1, a reset switch 38 stopping energization to the drive motor 5 if a material crushed by the crushed body 2 is the load heavier than a specified material and if the current passing through the drive motor 5 exceeds the specific value is arranged in the upper part of the power source cord-storing space S, it is possible to secure the storing space S for the power source cord 11 without impairing the motion of the reset switch 38.
