PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information acquisition device capable of stably and accurately acquiring the position information of a desired position pointed by using an optical pointer.SOLUTION: A position information acquisition device 12 capable of acquiring the position information of a pointed position pointed by using a laser pointer LP of an image displayed on a screen surface includes: a camera 16 for imaging in time series the image to which the optical pointer LP is faced, and on which an optical spot is formed; and position information acquisition means 18 capable of estimating the position information of the pointed position on the basis of a plurality of image information acquired by imaging in time series the image on which the optical spot is formed, and acquiring the estimated position information. |
