PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type display device that is capable of shifting a projection video picture in an appropriate direction according to an installation state of the projection type display device.SOLUTION: The projection type display device capable of shifting a projection video picture via an operation section includes: a shift operation detection section that detects a shift operation direction of the projection video picture instructed via the operation section; an installation state detection section that detects an installation state of the projection type display device; and a control part that causes the projection video picture to be shifted in a direction according to the installation state of the projection type display device on the basis of the shift operation direction and the installation state of the projection type display device. |
