PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify and display an abnormal area of a diagnosis object having any shape by sound.SOLUTION: An abnormality diagnosis apparatus 1 includes: a camera 2 for obtaining a camera image obtained by picking up a diagnosis object 7; a microphone array 3 for collecting signals of sound pressure from the diagnosis object 7; a sound pressure map creating section 121 for performing signal processing to the signals of sound pressure collected by the microphone array 3 and for calculating a distribute of sound pressures for each direction corresponding to the camera image to create a sound pressure map; an abnormal area determining section 122 for determining the presence/absence of an abnormality at each calculating point on the basis of the sound pressure map calculated by the sound pressure map creating section 121; and a sound pressure map displaying section 124 for displaying an additional camera image 20a obtained by superimposing the sound pressure map on the camera image.
