An electrically conductive retainer (2) fixed the winding (3) in a predetermined position relatively to the wall of the cup (1), is rigidly connected to the winding, and electrically joined to one (3d) of the gable contacts by means ofa solder or welded union (2e). Both winding and retainer are mechanically connected as a composite unit with the cup by means of a screw union, and a plastic filler (8) is inserted in the space between the winding and the wall of the cup. The cup is made of an electrically conductive material, and serves, in company with the retainer as electrical terminal and heat dissipator for the capacitor. The retainer comprises a central, long body, coaxially arranged with the winding, from which a radial collar (2d) extends at a distance from its ends. The solder or welded union (2e) is arranged between the collar and the one (3d) gable contact. One side of the collar has a cross-section deviating from circular shape, and the one side of the body inserts into a hole in the winding to produce rigidity between the latter and the retainer. |
