<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten salt battery system in which charge and discharge in a state that is not melted is prevented by estimating the solubility of the whole battery with high accuracy, and lowering of discharge capacity and shortening of the life can be suppressed, and to provide an operation method of a molten salt battery system.SOLUTION: A molten salt battery system includes a molten salt battery using a molten salt as an electrolyte, a charge-discharge switching device for charging or discharging the molten salt battery, an impedance measuring device for measuring the impedance of the molten salt battery, and a controller for transmitting a charge-discharge propriety signal to the charge-discharge switching device depending on the measurement results from the impedance measuring device. Preferably, a temperature measuring device for measuring the temperature of the molten salt battery is also provided, and the controller transmits the charge-discharge propriety signal to the charge-discharge switching device depending on the measurement results from the temperature measuring device.</p> |
