PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an area of a rectangular original material such as paper required for making and facilitate assembly of a side-opening assembly type storage box.SOLUTION: An assembly type storage box comprises: a body 1 having a rear face 10, a right side face 11, a left side face 12, a bottom face rear edge 13, a bottom face right edge 14, and a bottom face left edge 15; and an assembly body 2 having a bottom face 30, an insertion engaging part 32 and a front face 31. From a folding easy-to-break line 13a formed on right and left of the bottom face rear edge, right and left rear ends 13b positioned on the right and left outsides are fixed to the lower faces of the bottom face left edge and the bottom face right edge. On a rear part of the folding easy-to-break line, an overlap part on which the bottom face right edge and the bottom face left edge are overlapped on the bottom face rear edge in a non-fixed state, is formed. The bottom face is positioned on the bottom face rear edge, bottom face right edge, and bottom face left edge. Right and left ends of the insertion engaging part folded from a rear end to a lower side of the bottom face, are inserted between the bottom face rear edge, and bottom face left edge and bottom face right edge of the right and left overlap parts to be engaged with the body. From the bottom face, the front face is raised up so as to be assembled into a box shape.
