PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of surely fixing a magnet piece to a plastic panel through a simple operation and eliminating the risk of dropping the magnet piece from a mounting hole after fixture.SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: forming mounting holes 20a and 20b in a shape corresponding to a magnet piece 24 on a surface of a plastic panel 12; inserting the magnet piece into the mounting hole; using a jig 32 in which an outer peripheral shape of a cylindrical tip end portion is similar to and larger than an outer edge shape of the magnet piece and a tapered surface part 32a and an annular plane part 32b are included in the tip end portion, heating the tip end portion of the jig to be abutted on the surface of the plastic panel, meshing the tip end portion of the jig into the plastic panel while partially melting the plastic panel with heat in the tip end portion of the jig, shaping a melted plastic portion with the tapered surface part and the annular plane part in the tip end portion of the jig, and wrapping the outer edge part of the magnet piece within a melted portion 34; separating the jig from the surface of the plastic panel; and cooling and re-hardening the melted portion of the plastic panel. |
