PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine control device capable of appropriately suppressing generation of deposits in a fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 11 includes: a fuel injection valve 29 injecting fuel into an intake path 26; and a generator 12 forcibly rotating an engine output shaft 22. The internal combustion engine 11 executes a forced rotation control for actuating the generator 12 to forcibly rotate the engine output shaft 22 and an adjustment control for adjusting intake valve timing and exhaust valve timing to timing of discharging gas in cylinders into the intake path 26 at a time of stopping injection of the fuel from the fuel injection valve 29 for stopping operation of the internal combustion engine 11.
