PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which allows data consistency between storages to be accurately verified in a test relating to data copy processing between storage devices.SOLUTION: A testing unit 100 of a host computer 10 performs a test relating to data copy processing from a first storage device connected to the host computer 10 to a second storage device. A buffer information acquisition part 122 of the testing unit 100 acquires a used amount of a transmission buffer of the first storage device and calculates an unused amount of the transmission buffer in accordance with the capacity and used amount of the transmission buffer of the first storage device. A write processing part 123 writes data of which the size exceeds the unused amount, to the first storage device. A cancellation processing part 124 cancels the data write.
