<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a PAPR and control the degree of reduction in the PAPR in OFDM communication employing a pilot signal.SOLUTION: A modulation unit 11 generates a modulation signal from an input signal. An insertion unit 13 generates post-insertion data by inserting 0 at a discretionary determined position of each element of the modulation signal serial-parallel converted by a serial-parallel conversion unit 12. A calculation unit 14 generates post-calculation data by adding the post-insertion data to a pilot signal on the basis of the pilot signal that is generated by multiplying elements at the same position as the elements of the post-insertion data having a value 0 by a first amplitude coefficient relative to any data sequence, and multiplying elements other than the above-mentioned elements by a second amplitude coefficient. An IFFT unit 15 performs inverse fast Fourier transformation of the post-calculation data. A transmission unit 16 generates a baseband signal from the calculation result by the IFFT unit 15, generates a transmission signal on the basis of the baseband signal, and transmits it via an antenna 10.</p> |
