PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern noise simulation method by which computational quantity is suppressed and besides, accuracy of pattern noise prediction can be improved.SOLUTION: A pattern noise simulation method related to the present invention includes a step A of producing a tire model, a step B of producing a road surface model, a step C of calculating a road surface reaction force which the road surface model receives, by pressing the road surface model against the tire model with a predetermined force, and calculating a plurality of road surface reaction forces dependent on the pressing positions of the road surface model on the tire model by moving the pressing position in a tire circumferential direction, a step D of calculating a reaction force difference value that is a difference between a maximum value of the road surface reaction force and a minimum value of the road surface reaction force, and a step E of determining a sound pressure level of a pattern noise in the tire model on the basis of the reaction difference value. |
