PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce switching losses of inverter circuits.SOLUTION: An inverter control apparatus for controlling a pulse-width modulation type inverter that converts a DC into a three-phase AC and supplies the AC to loads, detects currents flowing to the loads, detects each individual phase of the currents on the basis of the detected currents and executes inter-line modulation on the basis of the phases of the detected currents. In a prescribed section containing the maximum current or the minimum current in each phase, the pulse-width modulation regarding a prescribed phase taking the maximum current or the minimum current is stopped to fix the voltage at a prescribed level, and the pulse-width modulation is executed only regarding two other phases than the prescribed phase. |
