<p>A dispensing closure (10F) has an offset flow conduit (300F) that provides a flow restriction to prevent unwanted spurting of product through the exit orifice (51F). The dispensing closure (10F) includes a closure body (20F) with an upper deck (30F), inner skirt (60F) and outer skirt (40F), and a flow conduit (300F) extending through the upper deck. The flow conduit includes vertically oriented sidewalls (310F, 312F) and a bottom wall (305F). The vertically oriented walls define an entrance orifice (320F) and a fluid trapping area. A partition wall (120F) depending downwardly from said upper deck and restricts flow of product from the entrance orifice to the exit orifice and prevents spurting.</p> |
