PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an applique piece to be efficiently pasted on an object to be embroidered by using a projector, thereby enabling the workability of applique embroidery to be improved.SOLUTION: A projector 25 projecting an image 31 corresponding to the shape of an applique piece 30 onto a fabric 16 to be embroidered is provided above a base 1 at a position which is separated from a head part 5 in the lateral direction and faces the fabric 16 to be embroidered in the vertical direction. The applique piece 30 is pasted at the position of the image 31 projected onto the fabric 16 by the projector 25 so as to be superposed thereon. In this state, an operation control device 20 performs the drive control of the head part 5 and a frame movement mechanism 17 according to the position data of the image 31, thereby performing the embroidery sewing of the applique piece 30 on the fabric 16 to be embroidered. |
